In Tolkachov’s works one can find not only anger and hatred of Hitler’s squad of slaughtermen, but also endless love for humanity, and faith in the unbreakable strength and indestructible spirit of the mankind.
Alongside with images of heroes, the artist’s memories and figures of his contemporaries come forth, warm and unclouded. The furrow left by Zinovii Tolkachov in the ground of Ukrainian art and culture, is truely deep.
